    Returns

Wash/rinse the hire equipment, checking for any damage and ensuring everything is accounted for against your hire agreement.
The equipment should be returned in the same condition as you received it.
Avoid trying to repair any of the damaged yourself because it may make the situation worse.

Do You Have Questions?

A list of frequently asked questions to help you understand how it works.

What happens if some of the equipment gets damaged?

Any equipment returned damaged will be charged at full repair/replacement cost.

Avoid trying to repair any of the damaged equipment/keg yourself because it may make the situation worse.

How long does a keg last once opened?

Varies between 1 and 4 weeks, depending on the beer type and gas used. Cider lasts for up to 12 months if stored correctly, Prosecco up to 4 months and cocktails vary from 4 – 8 weeks.

What if I have my own kegs and just require the equipment?

We can supply the equipment without the Kegs. See Dispensing Equipment for more information.

What if I have a problem with my keg?

Our technicians will test and demonstrate the equipment on-site.  We will provide you with a troubleshooting guide for reference with an out-of-hours phone number that you can use in emergencies. In the rare case of equipment failure we will attend site to fix the install.

If I'm collecting and returning what I've ordered, what are your opening hours?

Our opening times are:

  • Monday to Saturday – 10:00 to 18:00
    Sunday – 12:00 to 18:00

Your rental period starts on the day of collection which would typically be either Friday or Tuesday unless arrangements have been agreed at time of booking.

How much does it cost?

The simplest way to look at how much it costs, is:

  • We charge per keg as per the prices following a quotation from us (estimated prices are on the website)
  • We charge a rental fee for the cooler/tap equipment needed
  • We charge a delivery rate based on location, time and date. You are welcome to collect it.

As an example;

  • Keg of Fosters £150
  • Draught Equipment Hire Package £100 for a hire period – Friday to Monday
  • Delivery £75 (Includes full installation)

Total £325 – that is less than £3.70 per pint for on tap cooled beer.

What means of payment do you accept?

All orders can be paid for by debit card, credit card or bank transfer. For rentals, all orders must be paid for in full to secure the equipment and your rental date.

Please read our payment terms.

Does the hiring of your services require the signing of a contract?

Yes. These are our Terms and Conditions.

Do I need to pay a deposit for the hire equipment when I collect it?

We require a deposit of £150 for all rental equipment hires payable by either bank transfer or a valid credit card. When picking up goods from our premises, we will need some photo ID and a utility bill no older than 3 months with the same address as your contracted billing address.

The deposit is fully refundable on return of the undamaged equipment.

Am I required to wash hired glassware?

No, glassware does not have to be returned clean, as we professionally clean all our glasses after each letting. However, please do empty all glasses of any foreign objects (e.g. cigarette butts, napkins, bottle caps, food, beverages and wildlife) and rinse the glasses out with warm water.

How long is the basic rental?

The rental periods are defined as a) Friday to Monday, b) Tuesday to Thursday and c) Tuesday to Monday.

Longer periods can be arranged.

Can I return an unopened keg after the event?

Yes, however, the kegs seal must be still 100% intact. For any cases of beers, spirits or wines, all cases and packaging must be perfect condition before we will accept them as sale or return goods.

However there is a charge of £50 per keg to return them to the brewery of origin. This fee is negotiable for large orders. Kegs are refunded within 7 days of your event once you have agreed your credit note, provided us with refund details and the brewery has accepted the returned keg(s).

How much space is needed for the equipment and kegs?

The main components of a typical keg system are:

Portable Cooler (Our biggest Size) W246 mm x H478 mm x D490 mm. These typically sit on a counter surface such as a strong table or bar counter

For all kegs please allow another 200mm height for the coupler connection. These sit under the counter surface but often beside the bar.

  • 50L Keg (standard size) H535 mm x W394 mm (sizes vary slightly from keg size)
  • 30L Keg H350 mm x W406 mm
  • 30L KeyKeg H572 mm x W300 mm

If you are building a custom bar or stand to accommodate the cooler, please allow for 150mm space around the cooler for ventilation. The cooler must not be fully enclosed either.

What do I need to have in place for the delivery?

All you need is a 13amp plug socket (UK standard plug socket) for the Cooler(s) and a sturdy surface such as a table or bar, for the portable cooler to stand on. Easy!

Regarding the equipment/goods, when am I responsible for them?

Once checked in and signed for, customers are responsible for breakages, damage and loss which will be charged at full replacement costs.
